Mastering the Art of Acting: A Two-Day Intensive Workshop with David Nutter

Join us for a unique, two-day intensive acting workshop on June 17th and 18th. This hands-on experience is designed specifically for serious actors who are ready to take their craft to the next level.

Day 1:

On the first day, you will have the unique opportunity to meet and connect with the renowned director, David Nutter, and the esteemed actress, Natassia Malthe. This engaging session aims to provide you with valuable insights from their extensive experience in the industry. As seasoned professionals, they will share their knowledge about acting techniques, the filmmaking process, and the keys to a successful acting career.

Day 2:

The second day is devoted to practical learning. You will participate in intensive acting rehearsals under the guidance of David Nutter and Natassia Malthe. These rehearsals will involve carefully blocking out scenes (planning movements on set) and coordinating with the camera for optimal effect. Through exploring scenes from diverse films, you will gain firsthand experience in the art and discipline of acting.

What sets this workshop apart is the creation of your personal "Demo Tape," a professionally directed, photographed, and edited compilation of your performances. This demo tape will showcase your acting abilities to producers and directors, giving you a unique advantage in auditions and career opportunities.

To enhance the authenticity of the experience, a proficient crew from Høyskolen Kristiania/Westerdals Film School will be involved, including skilled cameramen, lighting technicians, makeup artists, hair stylists, and wardrobe professionals. This real-life production environment will provide hands-on experience in diverse aspects of filmmaking, including camera positioning and multiple takes execution.

David Nutter himself will oversee the post-production process. He will ensure the integration of harmonious music and other enhancements to create an exceptional demo tape that you can confidently share with industry professionals.
