Denise Trankalis and Frida Vhile Hanssen wins Best Actress and Best Ensemble Cast at Independent Shorts Awards

We’re proud to announce that our talented Denise Trankalis and Frida Vhile Hanssen have been honored at the March 2024 Independent Shorts Awards for their work in the short film, “The Acting Coach,” directed by Ingvill Thorson Plesner.

Denise Trankalis was honored with the Gold Award for her heartfelt performance, a testament to her hard work and talent in a challenging role. Sharing the screen with Andre Landzaat, a lifetime member of the Actors Studio, both brought a level of depth and authenticity to “The Acting Coach” that has been rightfully celebrated.

Additionally, the Silver Award for Best Ensemble Cast was bestowed upon Fridha Vhile Hanssen, Denise, and their fellow cast members, highlighting the remarkable synergy and collective talent that brought “The Acting Coach” to life. As a community, we share in their success and are inspired by their achievements to pursue our artistic goals with renewed dedication.
